1. Free trial first
Every paid plan starts with a 7-day trial, and the Free plan has no time limit, so you can test the persona, photos and the Telegram connection before you are charged. The first payment is taken only when the trial ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your first paid subscription within 14 days of the first payment and receive a full refund. This right applies to the first payment only, not to renewals. By starting the service during that period you accept that we begin performance immediately; we still honour the full refund for the first payment.
3. Renewals and cancellations
- Cancel any time from your account; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew.
- Renewals are not refundable, except where required by law. Yearly plans cancelled within 14 days of renewal are refunded pro-rata for unused full months.
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; the difference is credited to your balance, not refunded.
4. Usage-based charges
Extra AI messages beyond your plan are billed for what was actually generated and are not refundable.
5. Exclusions
No refund is due when an account is terminated for breach of the Terms of Service, or for outcomes outside our control such as Telegram restricting your account.
6. How to request
Email hello@sofia-ai.example from your account email with the invoice number. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the first purchase. By starting the paid service immediately you agree that the withdrawal right is lost once the service has been fully performed within that period; our money-back guarantee above is at least as favourable.
